President's Message

Marilyn Hamilton's Report to the Annual Meeting  April 13, 2007

The last year has been one of transition and consolidation for ACF.  I would just like to touch on some of the highlights, that have been reported in detail in the Committee Goals Reports.  While we have not burned any bridges over the last year, we have crossed a few, and are building some more bridges as we walk on them.

Some of the bridges we have crossed included:

ACF has made the adjustment to a new President.  We have re-structured our approaches to Committee Chair Participation as the defacto Executive Committee.

ACF has mourned the death of Founding Director, Duncan Little.

We have laid to rest our old accounting program, Simply Accounting.

And much more happily we have put to rest our Stabilization Fund deficit, which has allowed us to continue granting to all our Funds, even over the leanest years of the market turndown.  We are now back in a positive position in this Fund.
